Name: Sarah Lowe, Market President, Marshfield, Missouri

Number of Years in Banking: 21, all with Bear State

Family: Husband Ricky and children Meagan and Austin

Passions/Hobbies: Love to watch my children play different sports at the Marshfield Schools, and we enjoy camping and trout fishing on the White River in Arkansas. I also play the piano at my church and serve as the treasurer.

Clubs/Organizations: Webster County OACAC board member, Marshfield Kiwanis Club, Gro Marshfield Steering Committee Member, and past board member of the Chamber of Commerce.

How Do You Make Marshfield a Better Place? Currently serving with Grow Marshfield, an economic development initiative that is funded through a USDA grant. I’m on the steering committee that is studying the creation of a micro financing loan program for new start-ups and entrepreneurs who have ideas that don’t lend themselves to traditional financing.   I also teach a monthly Life Skills Class on budgeting and financial awareness.

We’re working together as a team and more like a family, bringing nonprofits and businesses to the table with a common goal of creating more opportunities.  When you work together, it really opens you up new ideas that can make a difference.
