Our Team Members. The Bear State Difference.

Name: Jessica Reese, Senior Vice President, Marketing Director

Location: Harrison

Number of Years in Banking: 15 total, 14 with Bear State

Family Members: Husband Bruce, son Peyton

Community Involvement: I serve on the North Arkansas Medical Foundation Board, which is the fundraising arm for hospital that pays for educational needs, equipment and new building construction. Everyone will use the hospital, so I think it’s important to support this cause. Also serve on the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation Board, and I’m a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Harrison.

Passions/Hobbies: You could say my hobbies are on-hold as my nine-year-old son’s hobbies are now my hobbies. He plays baseball, basketball and football, and family vacations usually consist of visiting some sporting events. I do some online binge shopping, but my husband doesn’t have to know about this.

How Do You Create An Exceptional Banking Experience? In the old days bank marketing was about handing out pens, calendars and t-shirts. And while I’m still a fan of cool t-shirts, marketing today is about listening and understanding our customers’ needs, providing solutions that meet those needs, and letting people know that we have products and services that can save them time and make their lives easier. It’s being forward thinking and creating an exceptional experience for our customers. We call it The Bear State of Mind, which is a term that’s synonymous with providing an outstanding customer experience. That’s what we market and that’s what sets us apart from other banks.
