Our Team Members. The Bear State Difference.

Name: Eric Williams, IT-Desktop Support

Location: Harrison

Number of Years in Banking: 2, all with Bear State

Family Members: Wife Cheryl and daughter Reece

Community Involvement: I try to stay involved in my daughter’s hobbies and interests in school. She’s in a third grade book club, and I meet with her and her class for lunch once a week to discuss the books they’re reading. Gives me a chance to mentor and stay involved in the school’s activities.

Passions/Hobbies: Playing guitar is a passion. I’ve played all my life and play in two bands: The Dan Benton Band and Jason Pritchett and the Steel Horses. We’ve played Branson Landing, the Kansas City Power & Light District, a few stages in Nashville for CMA fest,  and as far away as Michigan.  I also enjoy Brazilian jiu-jitsu and MMA.  I try to practice this two to three times a week in a local gym.

Bear State Core Value that Resonates the Loudest?  Curiosity. Working IT in an organization the size of BB, we wear a lot of different hats, so you have to be naturally curious to find solutions to problems that you may not have faced before. My co-workers are my clients, so the sooner we get them up and running, the quicker they can get back to taking care of the bank’s customers.

Bear State’s core values. Every day they come alive through our personal connections with you.
